Yağmur Sarıgül

Today I want to introduce the guitar player the founder and the songwriter.
His nickname is 'yamyam' .

He was born on the 26th august 1979 in Antalya. Yagmur was Assistant Producer for maNga’s debut album 'maNga' and second album Sehr-i-Hüzün. He is the sole Producer for maNga’s new acoustic album project. During concerts he uses seven string guitars and keyboards.

He writes both lyrics and music for maNga. Mostly together with the singer of the band.

Also he covered the songs İz Bırakanlar Unutulmaz from Vega and Raptiye Rap Rap from Cem Karaca.

Yagmur has also another band or what I think he is the band. The band is called Tirnova and he sings there. Also what lots of people say is that he plays there guitar and the other instruments. But we can't say it 100% only guess. From Tirnova exists only 2 songs. They are called Yarın Doğar Güneş Elbet Yine and Kelleniz Mükafattır Bana. It's definitely another musictype and style as maNga and as we first think.

Let's talk about the topic relationship. As by all famous people and stars there are lots of rumours. The first rumour is that he was together with Aysegül Esen and that it is over. The other new rumour is that he is in a relationship with the 'roboter girl' by the ESC Nathalie Marrable.
To be honest I don't know and can't decide what's right or wrong, real or a lie.

Fact is we should concentrate on what he's doing, can and his talents. He is a great musician although I think he is very shy. I see that he is on photos mostly the cool and serious boy who mostly doesn't laugh and looks a bit like an 'emo'. ( He doesn't like if he is called 'emo') But on private photos he laughs and looks like a happy boy. That's why I think he plays 2 roles. The one, serious character by maNga photos and by concerts and the happy, laughly character by private photos. I think that he's shy because he doesn't talk so much otherwise he doesn't talk at all. In the past we saw him more talking and laughing but now not anymore. Unfortunately. Maybe because of all that work, stress and pressure.
Another reason could be the study. He also studies and I think so he is busy not only with the band stuff but with the studying. Not as surprise he studies music/guitar by Gazi University in Istanbul where he lives.

Not only by maNga he played guitar by the duet with Göksel.



We see that yamyam is a very busy guy but also very talented. He has so much projects but all in all he is still a normal person and behaves like that. He loves very much music and that can we hear. All his love are in the songs and in general music.

Ferman Akgül

Today I want to introduce the singer.

He was born on the 25th december 1979 in Ankara. He writes both lyrics and music for maNga. Mostly together with the founder of the band but for him tomorrow more.

Ferman is in a relationship with Esra Bayram and they were married. In my opinion we can't say it truely and with 100% because there are lots of rumours. The rumours are likely we can't decide even if it's a lie. Also it changes a lot.

But what I know is that i'm not blind and there are some photos where they are together. Although I see photos where he is also with other women and by the ESC it looked like he flirted much with that roboter girl. That shows me that we have to let them alone with their private life even if it's hard for us.

We should concentrate on his talents, his voice and as a normal person. Forget the ''wife'' besides him.         
Is that not what a singer, a star, appreciates?! To behave normally and not hysterical.
Anyway back to Ferman as the singer of maNga. He is not only there a singer.
He makes also duets with for example Göksel or Cartel. The new duet with Cartel is calles 'sen' (you). I like if someone has also other project and not concentrates only in one.



 I must admit that Ferman also studies and is doing his doctor title in architecture. Ferman directed two of their songs, too. The first one was the clip of 'yalan' (lie) and the other one was 'evdeki ses' (house noise).

Fly To Stay Alive

The next clip ''fly to stay alive'' should come since weeks maybe months ago. Now we are asking when will it finally come?! I know they said that they are working and going on with lots of projects. But we fans really look forward and can't wait anymore. They already published photos from the set and the clip. That's why I can't understand what they are waiting for. Maybe of the OK from their management and boss but for which reasons?! I think there is no need to wait anymore...or?

Hello and welcome to my first blog! It's my first time that I do it and hope you will like it. As the title of my blog says, the main topic is maNga. For those who don't know them it's a rock band from turkey. They presented the turkey last year by the ESC and got the 2nd place.
